SECC's reflections
Here we had one of the top candidates, we thought in advance. But Lennie and Neo bet everything on a card and took the route over Vetlanda. It was probably a mixture of getting lower consumption, and a hope that the rest of us would lose time in the roadworks that were going on in the Gränna area. But when things were going well for the rest of us on the E4, this route choice turned out to be devastating for their position this year. We have certainly wondered a few times how this stretch could turn out, and now we got the definitive answer. It is not a good choice. It quickly earned the epithet “inland Tesla”. Lennie and Neo did not seem too downhearted, however, and hinted at revenge next year.
