Good continuation of the new year.
This year we will run the SECC on Tuesday, June 30. As usual, we will start in Ystad, and about 1,600 kilometers later, it will all end when we roll into the square at Haparanda City Hotel.
The competition is primarily aimed at those who drive an electric car, but other electric vehicles are also welcome. Last year, an electric truck debuted, and perhaps this year we will see a further wide range of participating electric vehicles.
We dare to stick our chin out and say that the SECC is the world's longest, annual, electric car competition. As usual, it is important to follow the current traffic and speed rules. So route selection, and planning of charging stops, together with a little luck, will play a greater role in achieving the ultimate results. Last year, the race was completed in just under 18 hours, for the first time. We believe that it is possible to cut this time further, with a chance for new record times. New exciting car models, which can charge really fast, are some of the hot candidates.
We hereby warmly welcome all interested participants to register for this year's edition. It is usually both exciting and very enjoyable.
